When deleting: Black screen instead of "deleting <filename>" message

I am using a Sansa Clip+ with the latest (daily) dev version, every other day.

It used to be that when you delete a file, (after the confirmation dialog) then you'd get a message "Deleting <filename>" with a progress bar.

But for some time now, I get a blank screen instead of this message.

Any idea why this may have become like this?
Did I change some setting, or maybe this is an intentional Rockbox change??


Edit: My bad, it works fine when deleting folders. But I still get the blank screen (for 1-2 s) after confirming deletion of a file.
