HiFi Walker H2: Copy native port to a new SD-card

First I want give a gigantic thank you to Dana Conrad and the other developers of the Aigo Eros Q port. They have done a really good job. Thanks to their work, there is a port for a MP3-player that's still available!

Installing the native port went smoothly on two players with hardware versions 1.5 and 1.8. I used one of them for the last week, without issues.

For test purposes I installed Rockbox to a small SD-card. I tried to copy the .rockbox-folder to a bigger one, but with this SD-card Rockbox doesn't start. The error message is something like "Rockbox not found".

Is there a way to copy everything to a new SD-card (would be nice to have a backup too...), or do I have to repeat the complete installation and configuration process with every new SD-card?

SD cards used with "native" rockbox ports need to be formatted with FAT32.  Cards lager than 32GB are pre-formatted with exFAT.

To add a common gotcha to that, Windows will refuse to create a FAT partition greater than 32 (I think without even telling you it's doing so...). You should be able to format the card with the OF's "Format TF Card" option and then copy your .rockbox folder onto the card and it should work from there.

Solved. It was a problem with the SD-card. Everything works fine with a new one, formatted in the player.

If somebody is interested in details: My first HifiWalker (Firmware 1.5) had a hosted port, residing on the Kioxia Card which came with the player. You now warn against using these  :). Everything worked fine for for 1 1/2 years. Yesterday I installed the native port on the device, using a small SD-card for test purposes. Everything worked. I then renamed the old rockbox folder on the original (Kioxia) card and copied the new .rockbox folder from the small SD-card to the original card. Rockbox was not found. I deleted the new rockbox folder and  renamed the old one back to .rockbox: Rockbox started.

Today I bought a new SD-card, formatted it in the player and copied the .rockbox folder on it. Rockbox started. And now my only problem is that it takes ages to copy about 60GB of audio books to my new card.
