iPod Classic 5th Gen install does not go through

Greetings!

I am running a 10th gen Intel laptop with Windows 10.

I have an iPod Classic 5th gen that I am trying to use the RockBox Utility with. The utility "sees" the iPod. The installation starts and then the RockBox utility suddenly closes without affecting the iPod. I can reboot the iPod and iOS still loads, but I don't know why the RockBox utility seems to have no affect. Any ideas?
