Sansa C200 dies trying to use the EQ

Just installed Rockbox for the first time today, and seeing that there were customizable EQ settings available, I tried to adjust them to my liking. When I did this and tried to play a song, the entire MP3 player got so slow that I physically couldn't do anything, and had to force shut-it down with holding Rec and the power button, since it wouldn't respond to the power button. Here were the EQ settings (I used Graphical EQ):
LS: -2.5dB, 32Hz, 0.5q
PK1: -2.5dB, 174Hz, 0.9q
PK2: 3.1dB, 765Hz, 0.6q
PK3: -5.8dB, 2300Hz, 1.5q
PK4: -5.5dB, 3860Hz, 4.5q
PK5: 3.5dB, 4730Hz, 4.0q
PK6: 7.5dB, 6000Hz, 1.2q
PK7: -7.0dB, 8180Hz, 6.4q
PK8: 3.0dB, 10000Hz, 5.0q
HS: 11.5db, 16500Hz, 5.6q
I don't absolutely need to use EQ, it'd just be nice, so if this is just some freak problem with my player specifically, just let me know, or if I need to adjust something. I can attach images or files from the player that are requested. Thank you!

The c200v1 is only fast enough for maybe 4 or 5 EQ bands for most audio formats. I'd expect the V2 to be able to do all ten but I've never tested.

Since a lot of those bands overlap you could probably make that more efficient by using fewer bands. You've also got strongly positive gain so make sure you aren't clipping.
