No bootloader backup after native installation Hifi Walker H2
dconrad:
I see. Just for my own information, were you able to boot the original firmware at all by holding Play while booting? That should work, at least. The LCD might be weird still, but it should fundamentally still boot.
Zweeni:
Hallo @Dconrad
No, I only get to a menu where I can select 3 options "Rockbox" "Tools" "Hiby Player"
dconrad:
Oh! That's the hosted bootloader. The Hiby Player is the original firmware. Ok, so it does still boot to the original firmware. That tells me what I need to know, thanks.
Zweeni:
Unfortunately not completely because I also flashed the native bootloader using Jz Tool and I can only get to the boot menu if I press Volume + when booting.
From the looks of things, both bootloaders are on there. Native and hosted. That could of course be the case.
because I tried the hosted part first.

Zweeni:
Otherwise, I'm very happy with Rockbox and would keep it.
There are no problems with the hosted version.
If I could go back to that, I'd be very happy.
Or just get rid of the color error in the native version.
