Installing error seems not correctable

I ran the Rockbox Utility on an Ipod Classic 120gb and somehow got into a bind.  Here is the current readout on the ipod screen:

Rockbox boot loader
Version 1.0
Battery Status ok:3708 mV
Error!
Can't load rockbox.ipod:
File not found

Entering USB mode. . .
Plug user cable

Any help to get back on track with installation!

And you are sure there is a .rockbox directory with a rockbox.ipod on the device?

Maybe you installed only the bootloader, not actually Rockbox itself?
