iPod 7th gen with speaker dock query

Hi folks,

Appreciate any help.

I have a 7th gen iPod Classic and a Sony SRS-GU10IP 30-Pin iPod Docking Station. Sadly if I install Rockbox I can’t use dock as remote doesn’t function. Is there a patch or hack that will fix this?

Some docks/remotes work with Rockbox and some do not. The second generation Apple Universal Dock works well, and does not require external power. So if your dock has an AUX input that could be a workaround.
