iPod Classic 120 GB partition not found

Hi all
I formatted my iPod using Linux Mint as FAT32. This worked.
I ran the Rockbox Installer - no errors returned.
I restarted the iPod and got...

Rockbox boot loader
version 1.0
Battery status ok 4070 mV
No partition found

Entering USB mode...
Plug USB cable

I can see a .rockbox folder on the disk which is formatted to FAT32


What am I doing wrong ?

Same problem here! I can't restore it in itunes and try again either because apple software no longer recognizes it.
