Spinalcold:
I have an iPod Color and was trying to install the Rockbox bootloader.  I got up to step "d.1) (All users INCLUDING Video/5G) Extract the Apple firmware from your firmware partition image" and it said that "IPOD_FW is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."  Anyone know what went wrong with my install and how to fix it?

soap:
I'm assuming you are using Windows, and not installing RockBox after ipodlinux.  If not ignore the rest.

Did you download "ipod_fw.exe" (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/pub/Main/IpodInstallation/ipod_fw.exe)?

Did steps 1a, 2b, and 1c.1 complete successfully?

Spinalcold:
No, I didn't download that, thanks.  It wasn't listed on the installation page...at least not that I saw it only said to download "ipodpatcher.exe" and "bootloader-color.bin"

...then again, I've been known to be blind.  Thanks again.

Llorean:
On the official IpodInstallation page it does say to download ipod_fw.exe, it's the third thing in the list of required files.

Spinalcold:
...yes, I am an idiot, sorry for bothering you.
