ipod 5.5

I just got an ipod classic 5.5. It was upgraded to a 256GB SSD.

I installed Rockbox 3.15 however once installed, it says "No Partition Found, insert USB cable and fix it"

Windows 10 (also tried win7) doesn't recognize the device anymore. What do I do now? I tried resetting the ipod by pressing Menu and Center key but I get the same message as above.

You'll need to run the current build, 3.15 is too old for most SSDs. Reboot into the apple firmware, restore the device with iTunes and then install a newer build.

Can you elaborate how I can reboot into apple firmware? As mentioned above, windows doesn't recognize the drive anymore after the rockbox install. Now I'm stuck with it doing nothing except that message.
