Define a custom cover art image for a playlist
(1/1)
Tarik:
Is there a way to tie a specific cover art image (a 500x500 jpg) to a specific playlist so that when I play it, it shows that image instead of each individual track's cover art?

I would also like to know this. Basically emulating the functionality from modern music streaming platforms (Spotify, though I believe Apple Music copied this feature as well). I've been looking for a playlist format that supports specifying custom art for it. Only thing I found is XSPF, but there's actually been a feature request a long time ago for integrating XSPF support and it was rejected. I don't know if a possible workaround would be to perhaps have a custom WPS screen.

That would indeed be really cool, I liked making Spotify playlists with a specific vibe or something and giving them personality with an image and description
An offtopic idea is also to be able to see the cover art of songs (or even albums and artists pictures) when browsing the database, would be really neat and I dont know if anyoone talked about it yet
