Let me just say I am enjoying rockbox thoroughly and have generally had little problems with it. However I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced the following couple of issues:
1) Last night I had my ipod nano plugged into the computer (in file mode) and shut the computer down. The ipod reacts by displaying the 'ok to disconnect' message (normally this is fine). However, I never unplugged it and when I tried to use my I pod this morning, the battery had drained. I assume that the 'ok to disconnect' message never switched off. Is this a bug and should I report this? I would expect that after a while the ipod would shutdown to preserve battery.
2) If I boot into the original apple firmware in file mode and try to navigate to my music directory from my computer, my computer asks me whether I wish to format the drive! (WinXP) All the other directories (calendars, contacts etc) are fine but I cannot access my music directory without my computer wanting to format it! Very annoying as I hear that it is much faster to transfer files if using the apple firmware.
TIA
Dan
