Ipod 6G 80gb (HDD) with Rockbox only playing the first few seconds of a song.

I have Rockbox daily build installed on my 6G Classic 80gb with the stock hard drive.  When I try playing a song, it plays the first 3-10 seconds then stops and goes back to the music menu.

I have tried loading my music via USB thru the Rockbox firmware, original Apple firmware, and USB mode.  No difference.  I have all my songs in .mp3 format.

What's going on?
