Help? Could not open iPod:permission denied

Trying to install RB on a 30GB iPod Video- using the automatic installation I get "could not open iPod: permission denied" three times in the progress box

Using OS X 10.15.7  Bought a used iPod for this as I got nostalgic for same I had back in 2010 with RB on it.

 Gotta be something silly right??

Try running the Rockbox Utility from the Terminal using sudo:

sudo /Applications/RockboxUtility.app/Contents/MacOS/RockboxUtility
