Problem with Rockboy games freezing

Hello, I am having a problem with Rockboy games freezing. I downloaded some roms and transfered them to my ipod 6th generation. The games worked fine, except for the fact that they would randomly freeze and would not unfreeze until I reset the game. Can anyone help with this? Thank you in advance.

If you think of Rockboy as a proof of concept instead of as something that is you can actually use to emulate playable games then you will have a better time. No game I have tried with it works well enough to be usable and at the end of the day I use Rockbox for music, not Pokemon  ;)
