Ipod Classic Bluetooth Mod
« on: April 17, 2023, 07:14:14 AM »
Hello.
Sorry for my bad English.

Does anyone have experience with installing Bluetooth modules in the iPod Classic?
I've been experimenting with this a bit. Actually everything works, but the quality of the module is bad.
I ordered another one with APT-X HD. I hope the sound will be better then. I use audio from Line IN, voltage comes from the 30pin accessory port.
You can switch this off in Rockbox if you don't need the module.
It would be nice if the Bluetooth module could also be controlled via a serial interface.
There are connections for this, only the software is missing.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about programming.
Could someone support me here? Or is it not intended to implement something like this?
I've attached 2 pictures of the modification. I have no idea how to include this in the post.
