How can i load MP3 music and MP4 movies on my iPod?

Hello, my iTunes doesn't recognize my iPod anymore. but is there a way to put files directly on my iPod?

Rockbox doesn't support mp4 video but you can simply drag and drop mp3 audio onto the disk.

oh, ok. what video files does it support then?

I also have the iPod video. what files does that support?

Just mpeg2. Fwiw the manual might help.
