iPod Video Cancel USB Mass Storage

Is there a way to cancel USB mass storage mode after transferring file without disconnecting the cable? Even with the drive fully unmounted, RB stays in mass storage mode. Apple's OS for instance will drop into charge-only mode.

The manual only says to disconnect the cable to cancel mass storage mode. Is it possible to cancel with a button shortcut?
