Original Firmware for Rhapsody?
(1/1)
Braverman:
I started this as a separate topic, as it IS different from the one above:
I'm trying to install Rockbox onto a Rhapsody but can not find "rhapsody-1.0.2.31.zip" anyone have it or know where it might be? I've searched through, find many links but all are dead.
If starting a new topic is/was not the correct protocol, tell me and put this where it should be.
Thanks.

Not sure about the older versions, but Sandisk still has the latest R firmware up:

I think you can use any for purposes of installing on the e200R. Or at least I don't think it matters.

Thank you for replying, I'll use it and see if I brick the sucker or it pops up Rockbox.

Well, rockbox is on it, but no bootloader even though it claims it's updating the firmware.
It removes the pp5502 file from the root, but the OF.xxx is still in the \system\ directory.
Tried it twice.
Now the GUI sees the device, but won't touch the bootloader.

Done. There are too many firmware files running around. The V- well actually I don't know which one, but the ones that work are only about 75k, NOT 5Meg.
Popped those in and it worked/started properly - hope this helps someone else.
Thanks saratoga for the help!
