Ipod video won't start Rockbox

I recently changed my Ipod video 7gen because the main board was bad. after Instaling the main board two thing happend, first it will not boot to Recordbox second it has no backlit display but you can see the apple menu etc. please help

Did you reinstall the Rockbox bootloader?

I tried but it keeps telling me to eject the Ipod and after I do it keeps saying the same, I could not find the folder where I installed the rockbox so I could uninstall
