Maximum amps for JBS20 batteries

I have the stock 1800 ma batteries that came with the device.  Can I upgrade to 2200 ma?  What is the maximum?

You can in fact, upgrade.  I currently have 2650 mAh batteries in my JBR.  There is no maximum afaik, although normally, those batteries go up to around 2700 (although, I am sure that much higher exist, but i do not believe that they have gone above 3000 mAh yet).  Just make sure that they are standard AA size NiMh batteries.

The maximum is about 3200mah in the rockbox firmware. This could be increased but there isn't really any need yet, as battery capacities have not exceeded this yet.

Good feedback.  Thanks everyone.  Time to upgrade from the stock Archos batteries, which seem to only have about 3 to 5 hours of life before recharge.
