ID3 'Comment' vs 'Comments'?
« on: November 30, 2022, 07:25:47 PM »
A lot of tracks in my iTunes for macOS Music Library that seemingly have empty 'Comments' ID3 Tags are displaying what looks to be hexadecimal data (though mostly zeros) in a field labeled 'Comment' - not 'Comments' - when I access their Track Info screens in Rockbox.  Does anyone here know why that might be?  I'm guessing that Comments vs Comment is each firmware's choice of label, and that they are each intending to access and display the same field - but if so, why the difference in content?

I'm seeing this on 5th Gen iPod for Video and 6/7th Gen iPod Classic, all running this morning's dev build.  I have also seen it in the past on earlier Rockbox versions.

Thanks.
