rockboy on ipod mini second gen?

Hi there! im super new to all this so apologies if I get anything wrong.

so I installed rockbox onto my iPod mini second gen and I noticed that I was unable to open gb or gbc games and I checked the folder it was supposed to be and it isn't there.
does this iPod not have access to the viewer? also I found a patch for rockboy on grayscale but am unsure how to use it.

any help would be appreciated!
