LOCK KEY COMBINATION FOR IPOD CLASSIC 6gen

hi guys, greetings for all, i want to know how i can lock my WPS, i check the manual for my ipod (6gen) and i cant get the info. Can anyone help me? I'd appreciate it!

Same as with the original firmware - just use the 'lock' slider.

I do exactly that but for the ipod it is as if I would not have done anything

Sounds like a hardware fault, then.  Maybe need to replace the audio-jack/hold button assembly.

Oh, assuming you aren't using a very old version of rockbox.  I very dimly remember the hold switch didn't work on the 6g at first, but it was fixed a few years ago.  Or, rather, I think it worked functionally, but Rockbox didn't know about it so the lock icon would not appear on the WPS.
It's not uncommon for the hold swtich to physically malfunction, especially if it's an old second-hand or refurbished ipod.
