From what I can tell, this module just ties into the ipod's line out and possibly with the IAP signaling for metadata and device control.

It _should_ work, though you should make sure the ipod's line out is enabled in the system settings.  Let us know one way or another!

Thank you for your answer. The firmware menu has a "linear output"item. What is it used for? As I realized the output is implemented on "native" charging connector. JBL doctorate for iPod, the player with the rockbox firmware does not work. That's what I assumed could be a sound from the player can be passed on the Bluetooth amplifier.
