Rockbox Development > New Ports
Mintpad (Mintpass MP100) (CPU: Telechips TCC7901)
(1/1)
gnh1201:
Mintpad is a PMP developed by a company called Mintpass (branched from Iriver). It was released on November 10, 2008.
I found out about the Rockbox project while looking for information on Telechips TCC7901.
It supported its own services and various third-party applications based on Windows CE.
Unfortunately, the company collapsed when the company's representative collapsed due to chronic disease while preparing for the next product.
The exterior is similar to Cowon products. Among them, Cowon S9 uses the same TCC7901 chip.
Is it possible to port Rockbox to this product?

saratoga:
Definitely possible, some of the lower end telechips parts are supported, so nothing prevents supporting the high end. Just a lot of work.
