Will Rockbox ever be available for Sony NW-A55l?

I know there's a build for the NW-A20 which is the same family but does anyone know if there are plans to update?

saratoga:
Is that an android, linux or something else player? Do you know what SOC it uses? That determines how hard it is for someone to add support.

Loofer:
Not sure, I know it's not Android as that's the A100 line, it's a development of the A20/30/40 line which I think are Linux so I'd assume it's built on the same base.

Loofer:
Just bumping this in the desperate hope that something has changed in the last 7 months? having lived with this thing I'd love to be able to get Rockbox functionality on it as the Sony software is driving me nuts at times.
