Backlight on/off toggle?

Just Rockbox'd my iPod mini 2nd gen with 256GB SD card mod. Is there any way to add a backlight on/off toggle to the quick menu? For the most part I don't need the backlight, but I do want to turn it on occasionally when using the iPod in a dark environment like my car. The closest thing I can figure is to assign the backlight time setting to the quick menu, but cycling all those options is tedious.

if the setting is able to be in the QuickScreen you should be able to long press select on the desired setting
and pop a menu that allows that setting to be added to the QS or Shortcuts

Right, but there's not a setting that simply toggles the backlight as far as I can determine.
