No partition found, insert USB cable and fix iPod 5th gen

Hi guys I just set up my new iPod with an SSD and battery i bought off Aliexpress and they work fine but when i install and run rockbox (using rockbox utility) it says "No partition found, insert USB cable and fix"

any help appreciated
