iPod Nano Perceptual Bass Enhancement + Surround both causes repeatable crashes

on an iPod Nano 2G with the latest rockbox installed. Any ideas why? Everything else seems to work perfectly but these two when selected lock it up and need a hard reset from holding select and menu to reboot.

I wonder if it might be an issue of not having a fast enough processor to handle the load

does either one alone cause it?
have you tried songs encoded in different formats
have you tried other processor intensive settings? [EQ, crossfeed, timestretch, compressor, vu_meter plugin, cube_demo plugin etc]?

Post your config.cfg file as well so people can see exactly what settings you used to generate the crash.

Its definitely a processor thing. The Nano can't handle those extra features as it doesn't have the power. Thanks

Lack of CPU power should cause audio to skip, but it should not crash.
