Haxx will stop hosting most Rockbox services after 2020

Shouldn't there be a topic in announcements about this? I hate to panic, but I'd really hate to lose ANYTHING from the site. It's been an invaluable resource for over ten years.

We have plans to smoothly transition all services to new hosting. All services are either being migrated or archived and replaced with modern alternatives.

Will the PayPal donation link change as well? Is it still correct as of right now?

Just to allay anyone's fears, the migration to new hosting has been underway for the past month or so, and should be completed within another month or two.

Several pieces have already been successfully moved (themesite, translation site, and forums), and the next big chunk (www, downloads, builds, buildmaster) is already staged -- just haven't figured the exact downtime window.

There are a lot of moving parts, so full services will not be available for at least a couple of hours.  Coordination and communication during this effort will take place in #rockbox-communiity on freenode.

FYI, git and gerrit services will be migrating to their new host on May 27th starting at ~21:00 CET (15:00 Eeastern US).  Which is about 4 hours from my writing this.

Downtime should be minimal, likely limited to the DNS propogation delay of ~2 hours.  I expect the new site to be fully operational in under 30 minutes.

This is now complete.  There are a few straggling bugs (most notably the irc bot that queries gerrit tickets needs tweaking) but gerrit and git services appear fully functional.

And, with this completed, I'm happy to announce that all haxx-hosted services that were on the shutdown list have now been migrated.
