My Clip Zip is dying. What are the options? Clip Sport?

Hello,

the battery drains fairly quickly after charging. It sometimes cuts out, and the headphone jack is worn. I've looked for a brand new one, but they're not available, except for on ebay, at insane prices.

The most logical replacement would be a Clip Sport - but apparently there is no RockBox firmware available for it. Will there ever be?

That has been asked multiple times in the forum.
The answer is no, too little RAM available.

As for alternatives, it's hard at this size.
I recently picked up a few Sansa E200 on *bay, they are rather cheap and you can exchange the battery.
