Sansa Clip Zip Nostalgia
« on: March 15, 2020, 10:57:04 PM »
I see there is still a bit of nostalgia for the old Sansa Clip Zip out there.  I am dreading the day when my last one dies.  One of the hard switches is threatening total fail sometime soon.  Could I ask if anyone has a source of the ribbon with switches assembly that is used in these units?  I have another Zip that I dismantled and is only in need of that ribbon with switches to carry on performing.

When the Zip does finally die what would be recommended as a replacement?  I would err on the side of a superset rather than a subset of the Zip, and hang the expense.
