Itunes wile In rockbox (Ipod Classic)

I'm trying to put music on to my Ipod 6G but for some reason my PC wont see the Ipod unless I use rockbox, if i plug it in on normal bootup my ipod just freezes and I have to force restart it... any ideas?

Slight update, seems to not just be a rockbox issue, i tried commentingout the rockbox folder to no avail...
