ipod won't boot
colorofnight:
I installed the rockbox firmware successfully, and was playing around with it for a while. After restarting the nano several times I decided to upload a folder of music onto the player. While this was happening the usb connection came loose from the back of my laptop and a picture of a battery flashed up on the ipod screen. The nano then turned itself off and has seemed to be dead since.
I'm not convinced this is a bootloader/firmware problem as everything had been working fine initially. Is this a fair assumption?
If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful.
Llorean:
Plug the iPod into your computer.
Hold Menu and Select until something happened. It may seem to take longer than it should (10-20 seconds).

Thanks for that, it seems to be fixed now. I had read that trick, but as you say, I wasn't holding the buttons down for long enough.
Thanks again.
