Should i have factory reset my ipod?
« on: November 26, 2019, 11:06:31 AM »
Hi, i'm a mostly drunken punk from the UK, I've chucked Rockbox on my old ipod 6 just now and i have created a music folder and dropped a couple music folders in and they seem to play the files but nothing of these shows up in the database, the old itunes files do show up which don't play and i can't locate them when  i connect to this laptop. I can't get rid of these old file references.
Should i uninstall rockbox, factory reset the ipod and start again?
Will the database then see the music and organize it or is it a tagging issue?

Edit: no reinstal - update the database, yes fucking tagging.

dropped a couple music folders in

How did you transfer the music?  Through iTunes or using a file manager?

Has Rockbox's database been updated since changing the media on the iPod?
