Best rockboxable device
38Anthony:
I'm currently searching for a best rockboxable device
I'm currently using a sansa clip+ and by how much I do love it I need a new one.
Does anyone know a good device that is rockboxable and has color for around 20-45 dollars kroger feedback
Thank you advance

For this price tag I would say Benjie T6 (it's Agptek Rocker clone can be bought on www.aliexpress.com). Price is around 40$. But battery life is not so good - around 7 hours. As a plus it has Bluetooth (not supported in rockbox).
Fiio M3k is also good candidate with good battery life (at least I saw reports for about 16 hours) but price is around 65$. Rockbox support is not currently official but rockbox builds available on http://xvtx.ru/rockbox/

I have both the rocker and the M3K. I like the M3k better because of the fantastic battery life. 8)

Not sure if those will satisfy the OP. I'm interested in this thread too as the Sansa Clip Zip don't last long enough - I mean nothing lasts forever right? - and are no longer made. The things I LOVE about my clip are that it's small, clippable, has dedicated buttons (rather than a touchscreen - means I don't have to look at it to play/pause and skip, ESSENTIAL for running device), and has a microSD card slot. It also helps that it's at the ~$30 price point so if I run with it and it gets damaged from rain or sweat.. well at least I'm not out much. OH and 24 hr battery life is pretty freakin sweet. If anyone has anything CLOSE to that.... I'd love to hear about it.

For those who do not need bluetooth support I think the Fiio M3K is a great choice, affordable and with good battery life. The problem with the M3K is that there is a promising rockbox port that in my opinion is still missing some essential final touch and it is not clear if it will keep being updated, you can check the thread about M3K to see more details
