Volvo Sensus car audio system does not detect iPod with Rockbox

When I connect my iPod Video with Rockbox to my Volvo Sensus car audio system (MY 2013), it will not be detected. If I start it with iPod firmware, it is detected properly. Are there any settings to be made in Rockbox? I've activated car kit mode in the basic settings.
Does anyone have a clue? Thank you!

Most newer stereos are required by apple to cryptographically verify that the attached device is an iPod running the apple firmware before accepting audio, so anything beyond line out isn't going to work.
