iPOD 5.5 + 512Gb Samsung EVO mSata + Tarkan Adapter --> ATA error

Hello!
I am refurbishing an iPOD 5.5 with a Samsung EVO 850 500gb mSata and a Tarkan iFlash mSata-ZIF adapter. Restoring th iPOD with iTunes there is no problem, it works good. But installing Rockbox there is an ATA error -1 or ATA error -32 and nothing work at all. Analizing the mSata drive after the Rockbox installation, there is a big mess inside: two partitions without any format...

Is there a solution for this problem? Any suggestion?

ATA Error -1 means the hard drive didn't power up or respond at all during boot.   -32 means that it didn't respond when trying to read the ATA registers. 

I think there was some custom patch floating around for the tarkin adapters that was supposed to fix some compatibility issues.  Maybe try searching and see if you can find something that works?

I have been searching and I have found some information in http://gerrit.rockbox.org/r/#/c/469/    "Change 469 - Needs Code-Review Label. pp5020: use ipod firmware timings for ATA PIO"
There there is a code in C with some changes, this is what I understand that is the proper "patch", but I am not sure. I have not found more, for example the final Rockbox driver with the patch inside, ready to be installed. Is the final driver in any place or should I create it? If I should create it, that would be a big big challenge for me, because my technical profile is quite low

I have just downloaded the patched builds and I have installed that one named "ipodvideo-v3.13_SSD_patch", the installation was perfect and looks that Rockbox finally is working in my device. I still have to transfer the music and start listening, but everything looks very good.

I have been transfering my big collection of music to the iPOD and using it intensely for some days and I can say that the patch for the SSD is working perfect, no problems at all.
