How much max. size of Micro SD Card Rockbox supports ?
Chronon:

Is that for a particular target? I recall when Rockbox permitted use of microSDHC on the Sansa e2x0, while the original firmware only permitted microSD (with a maximum of 2 GB).
burkjavier:
I'm not aware of the OF being a limitation that Rockbox cannot break. Again, only requirement being that FAT32 has to be used.
Example already given on the E200, and I am pretty sure that if I even attempted to use my 256GB SD card on the OF for the Cowon D2+ it would simply fail to load up. I actually have to pop up the card purposely when I charge the Cowon device.
Frankenpod:
With flash modded ipods it's now possible to have 2TB of storage (4x512gb microsd), and I'm assuming pretty soon it will be possible to go beyond that if/when larger microsd cards appear (though it wouldn't surprise me if there were some limit to the sdcard spec itself that means it won't go much beyond that).
But is there an upper limit for Rockbox itself (or maybe some other ipod hardware limit that Rockbox can't get around) that would mean even if microsd cards got larger, you couldn't exceed 2TB? Or is the only limit the FAT32 format (which would mean 16TB was the max)?
Chronon:
We have already surpassed SD specs a couple of times:
SD: max 2 GB
SDHC: max 32 GiB
SDXC: max 2 TiB
It looks like SDUC will support up to 128 TiB.
saratoga:
I don't think there is any fundamental limit, although if we stick with fat32 you'd have to partition a card bigger than 16 TB into multiple partitions.
