Does the screen automatically turn of (or only the light ?)

Hi guys!

So i upgraded my X3II to Rockbox dual boot.
BUT I read that the battery is much less with Rockbox
because the screen does not shut off acutally only the light of the screen.

Can this be changed ?
I cant find the option!
