iPod 6G LCD type

Can anyone confirm that the iPod classic (6G) does not have a transflective display like the 5G and earlier ones do?

While it doesn't look super pretty, this always seemed like a useful feature to me for outdoor usage in direct sunlight where transflective displays remain easy to read – even with the backlight turned off. (especially the monochrome 4G and earlier iPods)
