Ipod Mini gen 1 refuses to read playlists

Frankenpod:
Only other difference I can see is my playlists are .m3u - but rockbox is supposed to work perfectly well with .m3u8, so that shouldn't matter.

I originally had .m3u playlists, but changed them in attempt to get something working.

Bilgus:
Maybe try renaming your playlist with only a-z and 0-9 so 2000s.m3u8 instead of 2000`s.m3u8 and see if that helps.

ALSO there should be a header in the playlist to mark it as m3u8 but notepad wouldn`t show that so use something that can show special characters like notepad++ to open it

Frankenpod:
That's a good point about the "'" character.  Though I was assuming that not all your playlists have that character in the name?  If they are all named like that, perhaps that's the issue?

MattHemm:
I'll give it a try, but like I said, these playlists were working flawlessly before they just stopped working for some reason.
