Ipod classic 5th generation camouflaging with Rockbox
« on: May 16, 2019, 06:49:34 AM »
Hello everyone,,
first I want to say thanks to everyone of you for the great job with Rockbox and the given support with this forum.

I've a problem with my Ipod classic 5th gen powered by Rockbox and my audio system Yamaha ISX-800 with integrated Ipod dock due to the fact that this system is compatible with all Ipod models except Ipod 5th gen (really...and I don't understand why). You have to know that when I put my Ipod 5th gen in the dock station it starts to recharge in background and if I tap play the song starts on the device but no sound or output comes from the speakers.xvideos.onl/ xnxx.onl/  chaturbate.onl/
So, this is my question: is it possible to camouflage my Ipod 5th gen as 4th or 6th or what else using some tricks or some right configuration in Rockbox? Do you have any other advice to fix this problem?
Thank you for the help guys!

For older devices this was possible, but on newer hardware apple introduced relatively strong cryptography to ensure devices only work with what they're supposed to.
