Bookmark Issue

Rockbox 3.14 for Sansa Clip Zip

Mostly everything works perfectly, except seems that Rockbox will only allow 10 bookmarks. When I add the 11th, it is placed at the top of the recent bookmark list, and the last one (10th previously on the list) will be deleted, so there are only a total of 10. Is this normal, or if not can it be fixed??

Not sure if this makes any difference, but I have 14 book folders and as I read each book, when I am finished for the day, I bookmark it to where i left off. Thus, I can only have 10 of those books that I am reading bookmarked.

You can have as many bookmarks as you like, however only 10 of them are "recent".

Thanks for the reply...here's how I use my Rockboxed Sansa...

When I boot the Sansa, I am taken right away to the recent bookmarks screen, where I choose which bookmark I want to continue with. When I either do a quick bookmarking (pressing the power button quickly, and do not turn off the Sansa), or I shut down by doing a long press on the Power button which automatically updates the bookmark I was using.

I'm not sure IF other bookmarks (.bmark next to the directory of the book I am reading) are created. If I do want those extra bookmarks (besides the recent bookmarks) to be created, how do I enable that. And if I do that, I guess I have to navigate to the specific .bmark using the file directory to get there, is that correct. So other than the recent bookmarks screen, I would have to find each BM separately, or is there a screen that shows them all together.

Seems to me, it would have been easier in coding Rockbox if there was an option to have unlimited recent bookmarks rather than limit them, and then have to search for each bookmark separately if there are more then 10.

On my Sansa Clip+ I do not seem to be able to see, never mind use, any bookmarks other than in the Recent Bookmark list?
