Clip Zip no longer connecting to computer

Zip has usb hid turned off in rockbox and is set to MSC mode in original firmware. still isn't recognized by computer.

unless something has changed on your PC it is probably a bad connector on the clip zip or a bad cable

Tried several different cables. None of them worked.

I'd probably try an older windows 7/8 PC (OR LINUX!) and boot into the OF (OriginalFirmware) just to be sure with several cables
and after that maybe try flexing to port up, down, side to side just slightly and see if it tries to connect
It is possible to clean up the board with 90% isopropyl (be sure to keep away from screen) and re-solder the connectors
but it is tiny fiddly work so hot air is probably a better way to go than an iron but I've found some success ( and failure) with both

Which cable did u used?Can u pls post it here..Facing same issue here,but not able to find it..As u told changing of cable worked i would love to try it...So can u pls specify.Thanks in advance
