I seem to have bricked my Agptek Rocker

I don't see a reset-pinhole.  Are there any key-combos I should try?

This may not be a "logical" bricking, I may have dropped it one too many times.  But I'd still like to try a couple things, before giving up on it, if anyone has any ideas.

Hi,

    How did you brick your player? Are you able to power it on? I did brick my player when i was doing a firmware update once, player become totally unresponsive, there is no reset hole/button that i know of. If your able to, get a copy of the agptek firmware, put it on a micro sd card, put micro sd card into the player, press power and vol -  buttons at the same time, it should update the firmware and fix the player. Let me know if that works or not.

Naw, it seems inert.  The only sign of life I get is when I plug it into my Windoze desktop.  The player doens't do anything; but the desktop thinks there's something plugged in.  It tries to load a driver (fails).

I'm worried that it's just physically damaged, ie from dropping.

I'm not sure about the internals of this specific hardware, but generally speaking since there are no moving components, it should be relatively drop resistant. I wouldn't expect it to be physical damage, and if it is, it might be easily solved with a soldering iron. Though again, I am not familiar with this hardware. How easy is it to open up? If you are feeling adventurous it might not be a bad idea to try, it could just be a broken connection.

I was feeling adventurous – so I bought an XDuoo X#II.  And I'm in love.   ;D
