Battery problems
« on: July 13, 2006, 05:38:45 AM »
Yesterday I installed the Rockbox daily build on my 4G 40GB iPod. This went fine, it works like a charm. But today, when switching the thing on, only the Apple logo appeared with a thin horizontal line, then there was the Rockbox boot screen and after that, the iPod went off immediately.

I later discovered the battery was dead... Now it's charging.

Does a modded iPod with Rockbox eat the battery capacity when switched off?

This is no Rockbox fault, it's general iPod related problem. I got this line even before i installed Rockbox :) Sometime this line appears if i turn the iPod off. I think it's usual :)
