iPod integration in car stereo

Hi,

I’m new here. I searched the forum and the wiki. I would like to install rockbox on my iPod Classic 2 gen (120gb) because I’m tired of iTunes. But my car has a very well designed integration for the iPod on the display on the dashboard (touchscreen) and on the steering wheel. Will that stay fully functional with rockbox?
My car is a Opel Ampera. Very much the same as the Americans Chevrolet Volt 1st generation.

No, that won't work with rockbox.
