Hello!

So I tried to add my 250 gb sata to an ipod 7th gen, but in my haste I accidentally broke the power wire clasp off the board.

So, im now attempting to use an ipod 5th gen for my 250gb sata, with rockbox.

I tried installing rockbox, to no avail, and now all im getting is 'ata code 11, or 'ata code 32'.

Ive checked all the connections, and they seem solid, but I cant even get my pc to pick up the drive.

Please assist!

depending on what damage you did - you can buy this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logic-Board-Battery-Power-Flex-Connector-Module-for-iPod-6th-gen-classic-80gb/391845145223

and carefully remove the clip and reattach it to the logic board - i've done this on one board and it works fine

if you removed the entire connector - then thats a more tough soldering job
